The Adam Rogers quartet had a variety of pieces ranging from some of Adam Rogers' recent work to a spin on some well-known tunes. The group features Adam Rogers on guitar, James Genus on bass, Edward Simon on piano and Clarence Penn on drums. Many of their pieces incorporated solos for each quartet member. Even with the numerous solos dominating the music, the group still managed to create an overall sense of togetherness with a rich harmony juxtaposing the acoustic nature of the group. The Skidmore audience was certainly amazed by their intricate techniques and the general mood their music created.
